Lost and Found

poetry by

Nicholas Wolf

The poetry in this volume communicates the poet's feelings about the death of his son, the impermanence of life and relationships with those around us.

Nicholas Wolf was born in Pennsylvania, grew up outside of Philadelphia and was educated at Harvard where he specialized in English literature. He studied creative writing with, among others, David Mallery, Edwin Honig, John Hawkes and Lillian Hellman. He was on the executive board of the Harvard Advocate, a literary magazine, and served as Bacchus for that publication.

He is married to Patricia Minthorne Wolf (the designer of the book's cover.) Of their four children, Kevin, Olivia, Irina and Becket, this book is dedicated to the eldest: Kevin Minthorne Wolf, deceased.
