On August 22 , at the 2010 Killer Nashville conference in Nashville, TN, Radine Trees Nehring received the coveted Silver Falchion award for her novel, Journey to Die For.
According to the Killer Nashville website, 2010 marks the 3rd Annual Silver Falchion Award. The Silver Falchion is awarded for the "best achievement in publishing" to a Killer Nashville attending author, as voted on by his or her peers. Fiction and nonfiction books (and collections of stories by one author in a single book form) are all eligible for the Silver Falchion Award.
